Maybe I did not express myself clearly. The idea is to do my research and come back with a set of names with their fundamentals to Baptize each of the future Farm Pools.

Hopefully I could clarify my intention

Well, thats a big no for me. I could use (https://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/magical-plant-names.php) to generate random name for the flowers.

The idea of this proposal is to link a history / fundamentals / poetry behind the name and not an random algorithm.
Randomness is a way to let a code giving a name. To my eyes linking values behind a name bring a touch of uniqueness.
Would you use a random name generator to name something / someone you care off?
Personally I would not. But I respect your point of view - The discussion is open

so i understand from this post is , picking names for pools moons and stake . but the names are unique and it have its own research and history behind the names

None of those pools have funding proposals attached to them or anyone who has wanted to champion them, so I feel like naming the pools without a funding proposal will just set incorrect expectations

I see that with the current system the farm names are related to the token names:

  • DAI Daisies
  • STAKE Sunflower
  • ETH Eucalyptus

To me it’s a pretty good system.
LINK could be Lily, Lotus or Lavender
MOON could be Moonflower or Magnolia
USDC could be Ursinia
ANT could be Anemone
PRTCLE could be Petunia

Like the idea too but my objective was building a story behind the name. That could start with the first letter of the Farm Pool Coin

I would not accept 0.2 HNY for charity - Others need them much more than I do !!!

I just believe that it is healthy to give your work a value…

If no one see this equivalence into your deliverable, then you re-asses and try to improve until this is the case.

At least you will not invest time in something that will not be perceived as you initially thought it would be.

After reading you a second time - I came out with the following conclusion : You are right in some way because the amount I am asking is not for this channel and might cause confusion. This kind of amount could be raised with Pollen depending of how viral this idea gets.

My error could be used in improving future communications / rules with the community : Proposal that ask for a minimum the amount of funding for example

I agree with the others, keeping the idea of pairs being named by proposers makes sense. I also don’t believe any large theme besides bees should be introduced at this point.

Besides, I had a lot of fun coming up with the awesome names for the xBRICK pairs I’ve made proposals for. I can’t let you take that away from everyone :joy:
