Hi. Just quick proposal / idea for a better organizing of the discord channels. I was speaking with @Escanor & @chuygarcia92 and we all agreed it would be nice to have other channels apart from “help-es” where people who speak spanish (just for example, we could make for other languages as well) can chit chat about other stuff that isn’t exactly >help-related. We can single it down to cafĂ©-es / memes-es just to keep the number of additional channels low.

I think this would help other language based communities grow and get to know each other better within the 1hive organization.

For time optimization purposes I’ve had at the task of creating the first draft of what the channel guidelines for these would be.

Café-es:
* This chat is for friendly discussion / chit-chat in spanish.
* Please be respectful to everyone.

memes-es:
   * This channel is for memes in spanish.
   *  Current meme channel guidelines translated**

Estaba hablando con @Escanor & @ chuygarcia92 y todos estuvimos de acuerdo en que serĂ­a bueno tener otros canales ademĂĄs de “help-es” donde las personas que hablan español (por ejemplo, podrĂ­amos hacer para otros idiomas tambiĂ©n) pueden charlar sobre otras cosas que no estĂĄn directamente relacionadas >ayuda. Podemos dividirlo en cafĂ©-es / memes-es, para mantener baja la cantidad de canales adicionales.

Creo que esto ayudarĂ­a a que otras comunidades lingĂŒĂ­sticas crezcan y se conozcan mejor.

Con el fin de optimizar el tiempo, he tenido la tarea de crear el primer borrador de las pautas de canal para estos.

Café-es:
* Este chat es para discusiones amistosas / charlas en español.
* Por favor sea respetuoso con todos.

memes-es:
   * Este canal es para memes en español.
   *  Los memes deben ser:
      - Gracioso
      - Provoca pensamientos
      - Hermoso
      - original

  • Los buenos memes tienen al menos 2 de estas cualidades, los mejores 3 o mĂĄs.

  • Los memes no deberĂ­an ser:

    • Ofensivo e irrespetuoso
    • Vulgar / NSFW
    • Odioso
    • BĂșsquedas simples en granjas Gif de ‘miel’ y ‘abejas’ o incluso solo la bĂșsqueda de Gif de Discord.
    • Copias directas de terceros. Si sientes la necesidad de crear un meme, tĂłmate un tiempo para ir al principio del canal y mirar algunos memes mĂĄs antiguos. No solo los copie (o cambie solo una palabra)

  • La policĂ­a de memes suele ser tranquila y permite una gran variedad de memes, ya que sabemos que los gustos difieren. AĂșn asĂ­, si se rompe alguna de las reglas anteriores, se eliminarĂĄn de inmediato, sin mĂĄs discusiĂłn.

  • Importante

    • 1 buen meme es mejor que 10 mediocres (gracias @Blazar)
    • 1 buen meme> 100 malos

  • Pronto ℱ  cambiaremos el valor de polen que obtienen los memes aquĂ­, serĂĄ menor. TambiĂ©n es probable que implementemos un temporizador que solo le permita publicar una vez cada hora aproximadamente. Esto no es nada personal, pero permitirĂĄ que todos se centren en la calidad en lugar de en la cantidad.

  • PD: aquĂ­ hay un enlace gratuito al primer meme de este canal. Empiece por ahĂ­ y vaya descendiendo y apreciarĂĄ la calidad sobre la cantidad.

I think this could be a great idea. We could make it so that Spanish speaking people have to react to the Spanish flag emoji in the #welcome channel, allowing them to access these channels. I like that we’re keeping the amount of channels to a minimum, can’t think of any other channels that could be useful to be in spanish. Cafe/memes sounds fine.
