Overview

Gyralis is a modular faucet engine for Organizations to create token distribution loops where users claim rewards by meeting eligibility criteria and human-proof sybil-resistance. Loops run until tokens are depleted, creating dynamics of scarcity, gamification, and sustained engagement.

Phase 2 will focus on:

  • Expanding to Celo and Optimism
  • Onboarding new DAO communities from Gardens (Gnosis, Celo, Optimism)
  • Integrating a new sybil-resistance provider: GoodDollar
  • Improving product design, scalability, and multi-network UI
  • Initiating database and metrics infrastructure
  • Launching initial marketing partnerships
  • Preparing a live pitch at Arbitrum Pitch Day (July 24)

This proposal is requesting 939 HNY at a treasury redemption value of $5k,
Council Safe assets value: $371,102k
Total Honey Supply: 69,708

5% will be used to purchase HNY and fund live loops.

    Future Gyralis tokenomics will acknowledge 1Hive’s early contributions. Mati will ensure this is transparently tracked and recognized.

    More live Gyralis loops will be launched, including:

    • New loop with Citizen active proposal eligibility for 1Hive
    • New Gardenieros loop
    • New Loops for Celo communities in Gardens
    • Existing loop with added funds

It’s so awesome seeing the 1hive engine turn “on” again, having a new working product born like this. Great stuff Mati and team :slightly_smiling_face:

The deliverables look super clear and have obvious benefits to the Gyralis app. And the next step of expanding to the next rung of 1Hive adjacent communities like Blockscout and Gardineros makes sense.

What would make this proposal stronger is more emphasis on growth strategy. Most of the proposal is centered around product development, which the team is very well-suited for, but feels a bit sparse with the growth+marketing strategy here, which will be Gyralis’s biggest challenge going forward.

This section here is absolutely key to its success, but doesn’t give much confidence. Have there been conversations with these aligned communities already?

So my 2 requests for the proposal:

  • a more complete idea of how Gyralis will attract and onboard new communities and users.
  • more target growth metrics in the proposal deliverables beyond just # of loops - i.e. # of claims, # of unique claimers, and $ of tokens added to loops by new communities.
