Because it keeps giving out a % of what is left in the pool, in theory it will never run out - however at some point it will not be worth claiming because when it is like 0.00000001 hny per claim, it will be worth less than the xdai you spend to claim it

Anyone is welcome to write a proposal to add Honey to the Faucet.
I think we’d like that.
A solution to people gaming the Faucet would be nice too though.
