How to Use Binance as an On-Ramp for xDai

this is not useful at all. I was stuck halfway down the road.

If you come to #help channel on Discord, we can help you walk the rest of the road

I am not sure what method your are using… but I have bridged freely between Binance(CEX), BSC, xDAI and Matic for small amounts using xPollinate.io and it has been a breeze and real simple. As @mrtdlgc suggested please come over to #help or ping me and I will be happy to get you through the steps.

I recomend you to use Bitmax Exchange. xPollinate dosnt have liquidity many times that I have gone to do a swap.
Bitmax use xDai network. It is an exchange and safest than bridges.

I used the process today. It worked well. I reduced my gwei to 1 or 2 for my transactions and they generally worked although it got stuck a couple times and I had to cancel and re-send. I Omni-bridged over DAI as suggested.

Interestingly, my (bsc)DAI was worth about 30% less in HoneySwap. I forgot to switch it to wxDai. I wanted to buy my first hny and it was gonna cost me something like 1200 (bsc)DAI. So I went back to https://xdai.component.finance/ , swapped my (bsc)DAI into USDC for less than 1 USDC difference. Then I used my new USDC to buy hny at the rate shown in Coingecko, or close to it.

So if your bridged DAI from the bsc doesn’t equal out, USDC seems to work as well as wxDai. That Omni-bridge is ultra handy to keep gas fees down. :+1: Thanks for the guide!

In retrospect I kinda see the bsc as a giant casino now. Constant bombardment with pressure to gamble.
