LOVE the new process showing the fee and the reminder to come back and claim. It answers a ton of questions.
It would be nice to see how much you’re claiming at the time you claim since at that time its a fixed amount.
Also, like the estimated payout on the registration screen, but it is the same number thats displayed on the main page. It would probably be super difficult to show the avg over a period of time? Maybe have the avg on the main page and the current calculated on the registration page with a reminder that its not final?

Thanks @pauly for the update. I assume its safe to keep using the supplied web portal instead of the original one and I hope that the update will be pushed to rare.claims soon? I think one feature that must have been asked for sure is the estimated claim amount at the time of claim… I am sure the claim amount is a fixed amount which is 1 RARE divided by the total number of registrants at the close of registration period. So it would be super useful as currently i think the fee to some of the claims of RARE may be costing more than the value of RARE being claimed. At least that gives people a choice to either claim or wait until a better price ratio is achieved.
Yes, its best to give yourself extra time. Its random everyday. Sometimes its fast by an hour and sometimes its late! Its all based on the blockchain not real time.

This looks doable! It will actually be the Final Claim Amount (in rare) and then a current value (in xdai) of said claimed amount. We can implement that on a window that pops up after a successful claim on the next update.
We are implementing this feature in the staking app. Not sure if it can be transferred that easily, but I get what you’re saying. You want to see some sort of stat tab that shows you your account growth? We might be able to add a stat tab that shows you your total collected rare. The value will shift over time because its based on market conditions, but I bet we can add the est value there too. Would that be what your looking for?

Yes. We will run regular updates to https://rare-claims-v2.vercel.app/ now. We are waiting on a fix from the alphawallet devs before we can push to rare.claims, we don’t know how long this will take as we are not in control of that fix. This is why we posted the new app in the first place because it was taking so long. As soon as they release a fix , we will release v2 to rare.claims and you will be able to use either or without issue.

I was thinking more of an avg amount per claim over time. I’m imagining someone who just came to the site for the first time and registered at early in the period. They see a claim amount of $5 and might expect that when they return the next day.
But I also like a little stats table. Could add it to the area that shows your current rare balance. Show total amount claimed with current USD equivalent. Something simple like this:
Current Rare Balance: 0.001 | $1.00
Number of times you’ve claimed: 10,000
Total Rare Claimed: 5.00 | $5,000

Improvement suggestion : have the estimated claim (in RARE) for the current period based on the average number of registered users for the last X periods.

I was a little thrown off when I couldn’t claim, then I remembered! Great job on the migration page. Super easy to use!
How is the work man?
The website was down yesterday and they mentioned that they will be adding brightID and then members can claim rare token. Now the website is up and it’s working the old way only. Anyone can register I guess. Where is the verification gone?
Was expecting the .10 registration fee to go away with the BrightID integration, as it was mentionned this was an anti-bot protection.
Disappointed to see this is not the case.

There was a whitelist of any captured addresses on the main website. We have a vote though going in @rarify_community on telegram to unwhitelist address and force everyone to go through brightID. You should vote. It ends this Friday.

No. Because we don’t dump tokens to raise developer funds. This is our way to self fund while preserving the price of the token and create true market for it. It also creates a price floor for future claimers as the price rises.
