Minerva WALLET (xDai Chain) + AIRDROP

Are you tired of TrustWallet and Dont you have a working Wallet with the xDai network? Are you tired of the Metamask application for your mobile phone and its slowness?

We introduce you to Minerva. It is a wallet, which is currently open source and is presented as easy to use and that we have tested and it is.
The application has been funded thanks to the 1hive community, where it started thanks to a grant proposal in the 1hive forum (Improve mobile wallet support for 1Hive applications).

At the moment, the application is in a fairly advanced beta phase that we have tested and test it and that works perfectly. We have the version for Android, but we have asked the administrators and they have told us that they are working on the IOS version of Minerva.

At the moment the main supported networks are: Ethereum, xDai, Artis and POA Core. They have in mind to work in the future with the Matic, BSC, Avalanche, Autherium, Optimist and DMD Diamond V4 networks.
It also works with the testing networks: Kovan, Rinkeby Ropsten, Gorli, ARTIS, LUKSO and POA Sokol, which makes it easier for us to work from our mobile phone, since the Metamask application is quite slow and once we have tested Minerva, our trial is much faster, complete and easy to use.

The most attractive thing about this application and that we will show you next is the Multi-Account and Multi-Network interface at the same time without having to change accounts and networks as it is necessary to do with Metamask. We can create new accounts in the different networks in seconds. Each one with a different address and all of them on the same screen. When the application is complete and listed in the Google PlayStore and in the AppleStore, a Bridge between the different Networks will be implemented, as well as an integration with BrightID.

AIRDROP:

Currently there is an AIRDROP in process, which is announced on its official Twitter and which is more detailed in the MEDIUM article that we add at the end of the article. It consists of adding your xDAi address in the comments of the following publication (https://twitter.com/MinervaWallet/status/1370045090631155713?s=20), making a retweet of the Tweet (Airstreaming 1,000,000 $ MIVA SuperToken) and tagging two friends. The snapshot will be on the 25th of this month, run !.

Minerva WALLET (xDai Chain) SPANISH VERSION:

¿Estás cansado de TrustWallet y de no disponer de una Wallet para poder trabajar con la red xDai? ¿Estás cansado de la aplicación de Metamask para tu teléfono móvil y de su lentitud?

Os presentamos a Minerva. Se trata de una wallet, que actualmente es de código abierto y se presenta como fácil de utilizar y que hemos testeado y así es.

La aplicación ha sido fondeada gracias a la comunidad 1hive, donde comenzó gracias a una propuesta de subvención en el foro de 1hive (Improve mobile wallet support for 1Hive applications).

En estos momentos, la aplicación se encuentra en una fase beta bastante avanzada que hemos testeado y fondeado y que funciona a la perfección. Nosotros disponemos de la versión para Android, pero hemos preguntado a los administradores y nos han dicho que están trabajando en la versión IOS de Minerva.

De momento las redes principales soportadas son: Ethereum, xDai, Artis y POA Core. Tienen en mente trabajar en un futuro con las redes Matic, BSC, Avalanche, Autherium, Optimist y DMD Diamond V4.
También trabaja con las redes de testeo: Kovan, RInkeby Ropsten, Gorli, ARTIS, LUKSO y POA Sokol, lo que nos facilita el trabajo desde nuestro teléfono móvil, ya que la aplicación de Metamask es bastante lenta y una vez hemos testeado Minerva, a nuestro juicio es mucho más rápida, completa y fácil de usar.

Lo más atractivo de esta aplicación y que os enseñamos a continuación es la interfaz Multi-Account y Multi-Network a la vez sin necesidad de cambiar de cuentas y de networks como sí hay que hacer con Metamask. Nosotros podremos crear nuevas cuentas en las distintas networks en segundos. Cada una de ellas con una dirección distinta y todas ellas en la misma pantalla. Cuando la aplicación este completa y listada en la PlayStore de Google y en la AppleStore se implementará un Puente entre las distintas Networks, así como una integración con BrightID.

Always good to see more options in wallets. Metamask is getting a little dated having to deal with multiple networks and accounts. Anyone here tried the Menerva wallet? I tried the test app but did not give it enough time. I might go back and see if i can tinker with it a bit more. Also the airstreaming does it happen to the xDAI address as an ERC20 token? Just wondering if i will see these tokens in metamask as it says its some new superfluid protocol which i have not really read about! Would be great if someone could eloborate.

I just tried it and created a twitter for the airdrop… When I connected the Github to my minerva wallet, it had to be on ethereum, which in Minerva creates a seperate wallet to the xdai chain. A little bit different to the metamask where it is the same address on multiple chains.

Update For anyone looking into this airstream/drop, you can use any wallet that was created under the xDAI chain, so if you have a metamask wallet that has been connected to the xDAI chain, you can use this for now to be able to receive the stream. I got to say that the test wallet is pretty slick and would recommend anyone with a little time to test it out.

I came to reply, but you look like you found the answer already. I just wanted to make a new xdai wallet in the minerva wallet to see what it is like. I’m a little cautious about putting lots of money into a wallet that is still in the early stages.

Yea completely agree. I am also in the same boat. I am planning on sending a small amount of xDAI to experiment with the wallet.

Please have a read of the discussion above and ensure you DYOR before you put any funds into it. Not advice but just make sure that since the wallet is still in its test phase and not yet available as an official Android App through Play, I would err on the side of caution and only put in funds that you can afford to loose. At this stage, I would experiment and play with some small amounts until a stable and well tested version is out for public use! Just my 2 cents … !

What is up with the Identities, Why would I want to add any personal info?

At some point in the future people might want a digital address in the same way that they have a physical address for mail etc. Although with the amount of identity theft, surveillance and scamming we will need to come up with some clever ways to keep a balance between private and public information.

Maybe if u put some personal info on the mini kyc you can enter in the Airdrop and get more tokens, I dont know, but it is not mandatory giving personal info atm.

I have created three xDai wallets in the same Minerva app and I have sent some xdai. The test was succesful. App is running well. I am waiting for Play Store final version, but I need an Apple version for my husband. Cheers.
