We run out of funds to continue progress toward the phase two milestone of having an onboarding experience to create a Garden from the UI. We also started a parallel initiative to improve the UX experience of the site after the feedback we gather from external UX research we conducted.
Proposal description
This proposal is to fund the Gardens Swarm DAO: Aragon
Proposal Rationale
Gardens is working on the generalization of the DAO design of 1Hive. The proposal will allow continuing the development we started with our first proposal, and second proposal.
We keep track of the hours and funds spend during this time in the following document: Gardens Hours - Google Sheets.
The artifacts we worked on during this time were:
- Garden landing page.
- Onboarding UI designs.
- We conducted UX research with an external user researcher.
- UX improvements designs.
- @sacha introduced Gardens in an ETHcc talk.
- Development progress with the onboarding experience.
- Site deployed to xDai network.
- Documentation flesh out.
We also kept a close line of communication with communities already testing a Garden on Rinkeby. As well as onboarded new communities looking to grow a Garden.

More detailed description of how funds will be handled and used:
17 HNY will be used to reimburse payments made on the last two sprints.
Payments will be made in HNY at the $ value at the time of the hours completed, once every 2 weeks.
With the data we gather during the last two months, we expect a burning rate of $16k/month for the whole team to function. We are requesting enough funds for a runway of 2 months + reimbursement.
